What to expect on your wedding day

Our venue offers a simple, registry-style wedding experience focused on the legal requirements of marriage.

Your celebrant will open the doors at the scheduled time of your booking to welcome you and your guests. Please ensure everyone arrives on time, as early access is not available. Before the ceremony begins, you will complete and sign your pre-ceremony paperwork while your guests take their seats.

Bringing your own vendors? No problem! Be sure to read our ‘need to know’ details here.

Vows and Music

A speaker is available for use during your ceremony; however, we do not provide music. Upon arrival, have someone notify the celebrant, and a guest of your choice can connect to the speaker via Bluetooth and manage the music.

During the ceremony, your Commonwealth Marriage Celebrant will fulfill all legal requirements for marriage in Australia. The celebrant will recite the Monitum, explaining the nature of marriage in Australia, and you will exchange the required legal vows.

Depending on the package selected, you may also have the opportunity to include your own personal vows and ring exchange wording as part of your ceremony.

After the ceremony

Following the ceremony, your celebrant will officially pronounce you married.

You will leave on the day with your Commonwealth Marriage Certificate as a keepsake of your marriage. If you require an official marriage certificate for legal purposes, such as changing your name or updating government records, this can be purchased separately from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages after your marriage has been registered.

Information on how to apply for your State Marriage Certificate can be found here.
